Stella blockhead lowrider complete

The Stella Blockhead Lowrider complete is a perfect ride for beginners, while it doesn't hold up to the most advanced ride there you really can't beat it's $130 price tag and decent drop down. This 10 ply hunk of wood definitely isn't going to break on you anytime soon but beware this drop down longboard could get heavy pretty quick if this is an everyday cruiser.

Sector 9 Fault line longboard

The Sector 9 Fault line longboard is a great budget board that offers all you need to get out there and shred. Sector 9 longboards has a lot of hype and for a very good reason, they don't tend to BS, and try out all of these wonky and gimmicky designs. Sector 9 is right to the point and continues to use what they know works and for a very affordable price. A slight drop down paired with a top mount ride for only $150 is an absolute steal, whether you're just starting or going pro, the fault line is more than worth its almost joke of a price tag.

Rayne Baby killer top mount longboard

The Rayne Baby killer is surprisingly, despite its name, the baby version of the Killswitch. This allows this downhill longboarding masterpiece to be a little more nimble and cater to those who ride with a smaller stance and or just smaller people. The Baby Killer has a just as many great features as the Killswitch without all of the extra room, if your younger or smaller family is trying to get into some serious riding definitely consider this guy.

Rayne Killswitch micro drop down longboard

One of Rayne's most revered micro drop down longboards would easily be K-rimes own Killswitch top mount speedboard. This board has not only smashed in many competitions but has deserved everything it was awarded. This boards pleasure dome technology is not only great on the feet but makes you feel like you're part of the board, with plenty of droppage to push against, the killswitch slays whatever you're confident enough to go down. If you're serious about upping your downhill longboarding game then look no further.

The Rayne Nemesis 2013 longboard complete is a perfect all in one package coming from Rayne. Rayne is best known for their downhill and freeriding longboards. While it may be a little pricey I assure you it's worth every penny.

Never Summer Deviant Drop Through longboard

The Never Summer Deviant drop through longboard is not only a dropped through longboard but is also dropped down for a surprisingly low ride height which offers excellent cruising capabilities along with amazingly easy slides. This boards twin shape and super low ride height give it all it needs to be a legendary freeriding longboard and for less than $200? How can you go wrong?

Arbor prodigy drop down longboard

The Arbor drop down prodigy longboard is a perfect choice for anyone on a budget that want to own whatever hill they decide to barrel down. This board is pretty basic by todays longboarding standards but its honestly all you really need to go out there and tear up any hill without tearing through all of the money in your back pocket. Landyachtz Grom Racing longboard

The Landyachtz Grom Racing longboard is all you could ever want from the R5 in a smaller package. If you're not already familiar with the R5 it's a board that's wedged and designed to be ridden with a 40 degree truck to create a 0 degree wedging in back so it steers from the front. This speedboard is second to none when it comes to boards designed for pure speed, and is now even a prime choice for up and coming speedriders.

Landyachtz R5 longboard complete

The Landyachtz R5 longboard complete is a great board for all of you hardcore speedriders out there that want nothing more than the horizon flashing past you. This board creates 0 degree wedging in the back meaning it steers just like a front wheel drive car. Yes, this downhill longboard rides just like a car drives which can only make you assume that this board was bathed in the juices of the racing gods.

Landyachtz switch 40 longboard complete

A little more substantial size of its smaller predecessor the Landyachtz Switch 40 longboard complete. The Switch 40 is the most versatile and probably the most popular of the Landyachtz longboards. This board can go from cruising and scurrying through town to tearing up hills as quick as it was going into your cart. And if that's not enough for you then there's at least a cool graphic on the bottom.

Landyachtz Switch 35 longboard

The Landyachtz switch 35 is a wonderfully versatile longboard. Whether you're mobbing around town or flying down a hill this board is without a doubt a jack-of-all-trades. The switch's lowered ride height not only creates pockets for a snowboard like feel, but also makes pushing an absolute breeze. This boards dropped down longboard deck makes for easy placement of your feet when bombing hills and is the ultimate comfort for cruising around town.

Landyachtz Evo longboard complete

Now for a board that both I and thousands of others can vouch for. This is without a doubt what has given Landyachtz its claim to fame. The Landyachtz Evo longboard complete has won more trophies in the downhill longboarding world than probably any other single longboard. This boards perfectly honed wedging and foot locking drop down technology basically make this longboard a race car. This is the ultimate racing board.

Landyachtz Rotor longboard complete

I can't lie, if something has ever come across as weird it would be the Landyachtz Rotor longboard. This board is designed to naturally it our stance and while I've never ridden it I've stood on it and its definitely a world of its own, probably a little closer to a snowboard then a longboard. While I can't personally recommend it, it would without a doubt turn heads and give you your own style, the only person I've ever met with one absolutely loves it and swears by it over anything else. If you want something that could re kindle your love for freeriding, give the Rotor a shot.

Landyachtz Switchblade 40

The Landyachtz switchblade 40 is the board that set the standard for the freeriding world and about 7 out of 10 of the people that I've seen out shredding the hills are sporting this board in this exact size. While it can be a little hard to sport around town due to its weight, this is the perfect board for taking on any hill you dare go down. This drop down longboard is exactly what you need if hitting the hills and sliding around hairpins is in your near future.

Landyachtz drop down switchblade 38

The Landyachtz drop down switchblade 38 is the perfect in between size of the switchblade sizes. This board has the most dexterity and ease of riding between the both but doesn't particularly excel in any given area. This board creates perfect pockets that feel just like the bindings on a snowboard. The Switchblade also has a wonderful high arched W concave along with a whole 7 layers of maple with a fiberglass top sheet for even more durability, if control, comfort, and speed are all something you desire in a freeride longboard then the Switchblade won't veer too far off.

Landyachtz Switchblade 36

The Landyachtz switchblade 36 drop down longboard is a board that is unmatched for its freeriding and downhill longboarding capabilities, while this is its smallest form of brilliance, this board has the smallest wheelbase meaning its the most nimble and will make breaking into slides and doing more technical slides much easier. Although the challenge of maintaining higher speeds with it can prove difficult, this board is an absolute blast to ride and can really help you up your game if you learn to ride a smaller wheelbase and then move up to a higher one.

Landyachtz time machine 2014

The Landyachtz Time machine 2014 is probably Landyachtz's most intricate longboards, it looks like it's made to smash hills and reach delorian-esque speeds, but really the nose and tail wedging created one of the best carvers/cruisers to date. The only thing about this board that will even remotely make you regret buying it is the horrible anticipation you'll have for next years model. Just be sure to grab some bear trucks as they're the best 40 degree trucks for the tail and nose wedging.

45" Big Kick Sacred ground longboard

The Gravity Big Kick Sacred ground longboard complete is a great choice for anyone that's a little bit bigger, or wants a board a bit on the bigger side for added control and a more surf-like feel. The Sacred ground is a pretty big board so if you're not looking for a board that's a little on the heavier side I would stray away from this one, just know that no cruising longboards compare to that of one with such Cadillac like proportions.
